| TrackIt loading buffers are 6X solutions used for easy loading and tracking of DNA samples in agarose gels. They contain two tracking dyes: one that runs behind the sample and one that runs ahead of the sample. The tracking dyes serve as visual markers of migration during electrophoresis and indicate when maximum resolution of the DNA fragments has been achieved. Additionally, visualization of DNA bands is not obscured by the tracking dyes because they run outside the limits of most DNA samples.TrackIt Cyan/Orange Loading Buffer is recommended for DNA fragments between 50 bp and 10 Kb.TrackIt Cyan/Yellow Loading Buffer is recommended for DNA fragments between 10 bp and 1 Kb. |
